Kids Book|Dr. Brainchild & Radar: A popcorn Discovery

Dr. Brainchild & Radar: A popcorn discovery.                   Children’s picture book|Fiction  Author: Cole W. Williams Illustrations: Laura Acosta

My kids loved this exciting children’s picture book about science and I’m excited to share it with you.  I would love to hear your thoughts if you read this to a child, with a child, or gave it as a gift. (Great idea for upcoming Holidays!)

Science can be so fun and most children can agree with that at a certain point in their life but sometimes they might get an idea that science is too hard and they aren’t “good” at it.  Cole W. Williams wrote this book in a way that is fun, educational, and inspiring.  It is written and illustrated in a way that anyone can enjoy! Boy, girl, wolf, or anything in between. My children are 6 and 10, one boy one girl; they both enjoyed it, could relate to the scientist, imagine themselves as the scientist and wanted to read it again! A day time read to inspire creative projects, and a good bed time read to dream of tomorrow’s adventures. I invite you to pop some popcorn together before or after reading, or maybe before AND after if you like popcorn as much as I do. No time to pop? Grab my favorite Trader Joe’s Movie popcorn!! To the children that dream, wonder, tinker, take apart and build. Never stop.

Dr Brainchild-2551You can read updates about the author on her website. She believes to get a little, you must give a little, by way of supporting local authors and bookstores and building a literary community.  I think that is pretty great, we can all help each other out, believe in each other, and make our dreams as well as others come true.
